Office Building Cevital, Algiers

The city centre of Algiers is to acquire a new 24 storey office building. Gerd Priebe Architects & Consultants have developed a distinctive curving formed object which will be erected in close proximity to the historical inner city and the Mediterranean bay.

The Cevital group belongs to the largest and most successful food produce concerns in Algeria. To meet the growing interest of their customers from home and abroad the company decided in 2006 to expand the existing main headquarters in Algiers with a 24 story office building with a floor space of 20,000 m².

In close correspondence with the clients, the architects intuitively designed an elegant curving form which can also be read as an architectural reference to the Cevital company logo.
